Position: Optometrist
Department: Ophthalmology / Eye Care
Location: Raddiant Plus Hospital, Nashik Road
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles/contact lenses as required.
Check visual acuity, intraocular pressure and other basic eye parameters.
Identify common eye disorders and refer patients to the Ophthalmologist when required.
Assist the Ophthalmologist during eye procedures and consultations.
Perform pre-operative and post-operative eye assessments as instructed.
Maintain accurate patient records and examination reports.
Counsel patients regarding eye care, spectacles, contact lenses and follow-up.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of optometry equipment.
Coordinate with hospital staff for smooth patient flow and eye-care services.
Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) / equivalent recognized qualification.
Valid registration, wherever applicable.
Freshers and experienced candidates may apply.
