We are looking for experienced Senior & Junior Medical Coders with robust knowledge of US Healthcare coding standards and practical experience in reviewing and assigning accurate medical codes.
The candidate will be responsible for coding medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS coding systems while ensuring compliance with payer and client-specific coding guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Review medical records and clinical documentation.
Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes.
Ensure coding is supported by documentation.
Apply appropriate modifiers where applicable.
Review E/M documentation and coding.
Identify coding discrepancies and documentation gaps.
Perform coding audits and quality checks.
Resolve coding-related claim issues and denials.
Follow official coding guidelines and client-specific guidelines.
Maintain required coding accuracy and productivity.
Escalate complex coding issues to the appropriate SME/QA team.
Participate in training and knowledge-sharing sessions.
Maintain HIPAA and patient-data confidentiality.
Keep updated with coding guideline and payer changes.

CPC – Certified Professional Coder - MUST
CCS – Certified Coding Specialist
CIC – Certified Inpatient Coder
COC – Certified Outpatient Coder
CPMA – Certified Skilled Medical Auditor
