Job Description: Quality Control Incharge (QCI) – Plywood Factory

Job Summary:

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Quality Control Incharge (QCI) to monitor and maintain quality standards across the plywood manufacturing process and laboratory testing.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect raw materials, production processes, and finished plywood for quality compliance.

· Conduct routine quality testing and ensure products meet defined specifications and standards.

· Operate and maintain all relevant laboratory testing equipment used for plywood quality testing.

· Identify quality issues, determine root causes, and coordinate corrective actions.

· Coordinate with the Production Team to minimize defects and improve product quality.

· Maintain proper laboratory records, test reports, and quality documentation.

· Ensure implementation of QC procedures, SOPs, and applicable industry standards.





· Provide timely quality reports and updates to management.

Requirements:

· Experience in quality control in plywood, wood, or building material manufacturing preferred.

· Valuable knowledge of plywood manufacturing processes and quality parameters.

· Hands-on knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing methods is essential.

· Solid analytical, inspection, and problem-solving skills.

· Basic knowledge of quality documentation, reporting, and relevant IS standards.

· Good coordination and communication skills.
