Lift TechnicianJob Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lift Technician to install, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair passenger and commercial lifts/elevators. The ideal candidate should have hands-on technical experience, good knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair lifts/elevators and related equipment.
Perform regular preventive maintenance and safety inspections.
Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and control-system faults.
Attend breakdown calls and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Check and adjust lift components including motors, brakes, doors, sensors, limit switches, cables, and control panels.
Carry out testing and commissioning of lifts after installation or repair.
Ensure all work is completed according to safety standards and company procedures.
Maintain service records, inspection reports, and breakdown reports.
Coordinate with supervisors, customers, and other technicians when required.
Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained.
Follow all required safety procedures while working at height, in lift shafts, and around electrical equipment.

Requirements
ITI / Diploma in Electrical,



Electronics, Mechanical, or a related technical field preferred.
Previous experience as a Lift/Elevator Technician is preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Ability to read electrical wiring diagrams and troubleshoot faults.
Positive problem-solving and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Solid focus on safety and quality of work.

Experience

0–5 years of relevant experience. Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualifications may also be considered.
