Cath Lab Nurse – Job Responsibilities
Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
Prepare the Cath Lab and ensure all equipment and consumables are available before procedures.
Monitor patients’ vital signs and cardiac status during procedures.
Assist in coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker implantation, and other cardiac interventions.
Maintain a sterile setting and follow aseptic techniques.
Administer medications and contrast agents as prescribed.
Prepare and position patients for procedures and provide pre- and post-procedure care.
Recognize and respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and procedural complications.
Document patient care, medications, and procedural details accurately.
Ensure proper handling and maintenance of Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
Follow infection control, radiation safety, patient safety, and hospital quality protocols.
Adhere to NABH standards and hospital policies.
Qualification: GNM/B.Sc. Nursing with a valid Kerala Nursing Council registration.
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a Cath Lab or cardiac care setting preferred.
Pay: ₹360,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
