Job description:

Optometrist – Job Responsibilities (Eye Hospital)
Perform comprehensive eye examinations to check vision and eye health.
Conduct vision tests and determine the correct power for glasses or contact lenses.
Use diagnostic equipment to examine patients’ eyes.
Assist ophthalmologists in patient examinations and treatments.
Maintain accurate patient records and test results.
Explain eye test results and recommend suitable spectacles or lenses.
Identify vision problems and refer patients to the ophthalmologist if required.
Assist in pre-operative and post-operative patient care (for eye surgeries).
Maintain and handle optometry equipment properly.
Ensure patient comfort and provide skilled guidance on eye care.

Skills Required
Degree or Diploma in Optometry
Positive communication with patients
Basic computer knowledge
Ability to handle diagnostic equipment
