We are looking for a Civil Site Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day execution of a building construction project in Supaul, Bihar.
The role is primarily focused on site execution, contractor supervision, quality checks, measurements and progress monitoring.
Responsibilities
Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
Monitor and coordinate contractors, masons and workers.
Ensure construction is executed according to approved structural and architectural drawings.
Check reinforcement, shuttering, concrete, masonry, levels, dimensions and alignment.
Monitor quality of materials and workmanship.
Take measurements of completed work and maintain basic site records.
Assist in checking contractor quantities and bills against actual work executed.
Monitor material requirements, usage and wastage.
Track daily progress and report delays or issues.
Maintain regular photographs and progress updates.
Identify deviations from drawings or specifications and report them promptly.
Coordinate with the civil/structural engineer whenever technical clarification or approval is required.
Ensure construction activities are properly sequenced and executed.
Requirements
Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering preferred.
2–5 years of practical experience in building construction/site supervision preferred.
Ability to read and understand structural and architectural drawings.
Good understanding of RCC construction, reinforcement, shuttering, concrete and masonry.
Ability to take site measurements and understand basic BOQ/quantities.
Experience supervising contractors and construction workers.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Solid attention to construction quality and detail.
Willingness to work full time at the construction site in Supaul, Bihar.
