Position: Safety Officer
Experience: 2 5 Years
Location: Erode / Perundurai
Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with safety policies, procedures, and statutory regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites.
Monitor and enforce the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Identify unsafe conditions and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees and contractors.
Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare reports.
Maintain safety records, permits, checklists, and statutory documents.
Coordinate emergency preparedness activities and mock drills.
Ensure compliance with client-specific HSE requirements at sites.
Support site teams in implementing secure work practices.
Required Skills:
Knowledge of workplace safety standards and regulations.
Valuable communication and reporting skills.
Ability to conduct safety training and awareness sessions.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Robust observation and problem-solving skills.
Preferred:
Experience in Industrial, Manufacturing, Construction, EPC, or Project Sites.
Safety-related certifications will be an added advantage.
