Electrical Operation & Maintenance
Ensure smooth functioning of EAF and LF transformer operations including tap changer control, power factor monitoring, and current regulation.
Maintain electrode control systems and ensure proper calibration and protection settings.
Monitor and maintain performance of electrical drives, motors, control panels, PLC/SCADA systems, and power distribution networks.
Troubleshoot electrical faults in EAF, LF, VD, Hot Metal Handling, and RMHS areas to minimize downtime.
Plan and implement preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance schedules to maximize uptime and equipment life.
Support protected and reliable electrical operation during furnace start-ups, shutdowns, and process transitions2.
