Java / Kotlin Engineer Global Remittance Platform

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilledJava/Kotlin Engineerto design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance applications for aGlobal Remittance and Cross-Border Payments Platform. The candidate will be responsible for building secure, reliable, and resilient payment services that enable real-time money transfers, transaction processing, compliance checks, and partner integrations across multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities
Design and develop microservices usingJava, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. (Mandatory)
Build and maintain payment processing, remittance, settlement, and transaction orchestration services.(Good to have)
Integrate with banking systems, payment gateways, SWIFT, ACH, and third-party financial partners.((Positive to have)
Develop scalable APIs for global money transfer and digital payment solutions.(Positive to have)
Ensure high availability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance of payment applications.
Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA,



and Business teams in an Agile workplace.
Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native deployment strategies.

Required Skills
Strong experience inJava/J2EE and Kotlindevelopment.
Expertise inSpring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
Experience withOracle/PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.
Knowledge ofKafka/Event-Driven Architectureis preferred.
Experience withGit, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Solid understanding of secure coding practices and payment transaction processing.
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience
5 + years of software development experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
