Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct survey to identify the unsafe conditions and acts and take them up for remedial measure.
Carry out safety talk, safety audits, mock drills, tabletop exercise, hazard identification and risk assessments (HAZOP, MCLS, Risk Analysis etc).
Focus on Process Safety for current product validations.
Ensure reporting of accidents/ fire incident/ near miss incidents, conduct investigation in detail, recommend and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Maintain Workplace, Health, and Safety MIS.
Identify training needs of Strides in Environment, Health, and Safety, prepare training material, impart training to ensure Workplace, Health and Safety aspects are understood & adhered in the plant.
Issuing the work permits as per the work permit system, educate all the vendors/ contract workers on PTW permit work requirements.
Overall monitoring and ensuring the smooth functioning ETP.
