Technology/Area of Specialization:

• Proficient in configuring and managing Checkpoint firewall appliances and software, including Checkpoint

Management Server, Security Gateway, and SmartConsole.

• In-depth knowledge of network security concepts, including VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems,

and access control lists.

• Hands-on experience with network monitoring and analysis tools for detecting and responding to security

incidents.

• Familiarity with industry compliance standards and regulations related to network security (e.g., PCI DSS,

HIPAA, GDPR).

• Ability to analyze and interpret network traffic patterns to identify potential security threats.

• Solid understanding of cybersecurity best practices and risk management principles.

• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

• Excellent communication skills,



both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work

experience).

• Skilled certifications such as Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator (CCSA) or Checkpoint Certified

Security Expert (CCSE) are highly desirable.

• 3+ Years of proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing network security solutions, with a

focus on Checkpoint firewalls.

• A track record of successfully resolving complex technical issues and implementing cutting-edge solutions
