Purpose of the Role:

R&D; Scientist will be required to devise a general plan and detailed experimental approach for new product development. He / She will be responsible for all aspects of design phase of development through process transfer into manufacturing.

Roles & Responsibilities
Plan and Coordinate Research Projects
Develop research plans, design experiments, and coordinate activities in the R&D; lab to support the development of recent aroma chemicals and improvement of existing ones.
Prototype & Product Development
Prepare laboratory-scale samples and prototypes of current aroma molecules, formulations, or blends, ensuring accuracy and reproducibility.
Technology Evaluation & Process Improvement
Investigate new technologies, raw materials, and methodologies. Recommend and implement improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
Experimental Design & Documentation
Design experimental protocols, conduct laboratory trials, analyze results, and prepare comprehensive reports to document findings and outcomes.




Compliance & Quality Standards
Ensure all research and product development activities comply with internal quality standards, regulatory guidelines, and safety protocols.
Problem Solving & Innovation
Identify technical challenges, propose cutting-edge solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues effectively.
Scale-up & Technology Transfer
Support process optimization, pilot plant trials, and technology transfer from laboratory to production scale while ensuring consistency and quality.
Scientific Contribution
Stay updated with the latest scientific developments in aroma chemistry. Contribute knowledge and expertise to strengthen the companys R&D; capabilities.

Functional Competencies
Knowledge of Chromatography/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Green chemistry/Organic chemistry/Oleo-Chemical Chemistry/Enzymology.
Handling chemical reactions, enzymatic reaction, solid support catalyst reaction, fermentation, biotransformation
