Role & responsibilities
Execution & Control of Planned Process Activities:
Handle planned process activities such as distillation, solvent extraction, Filtration, hydrolysis in pressure reactor at lab and pilot scale.
Perform instrument calibrations, particularly temperature and pressure sensors.
Handle maintenance and address breakdown activities for various types of reactors.
Prompt Execution of Standard Operating Procedures:
Ensure the timely and accurate execution of standard operating procedures for all acid/alkali reactions and related processes.
Process Sampling and Monitoring:
Conduct all process sampling, both online and offline, and meticulously analyze and monitor process parameters following quality check procedures.
Record and enter results and data in the designated standard batch sheet format.
Instrument Handling Expertise:
Proficiently operate instruments including High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas-Liquid Chromatography (GLC), pH meters, and moisture analyzers.
Batch Result Formulation and Communication:
Formulate batch results and communicate them to the relevant pilot plant incharge, technology development team, or respective process head.
Presentation and Reporting:
Present ongoing work, process plans, and findings during review meetings.
Creative Methodology Development:
Devise novel methodologies and techniques to explore commercially viable technologies at a competitive market cost.
Collaboration in Multidisciplinary Teams:
Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams, working across various functional blocks within the pilot plant.
Adherence to Standard Operating Protocols:
Follow the given standard operating protocols to maintain discipline within the pilot plant, contributing to a positive working culture.
Batch Record Maintenance:
Maintain pilot batch records meticulously in accordance with the provided standard format and ensure their preservation for future reference.
Housekeeping and GMP Standards:
Uphold housekeeping standards and adhere to all required Positive Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to ensure a clean and secure working environment.
