Level: SA (Senior Associate)
CTC: Up to 20 LPA
Location: Pan India / Across Cognizant Locations

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Apps DBA to manage, maintain, and support Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) settings. The ideal candidate should possess solid expertise in Oracle Database Administration, Oracle Applications architecture, performance tuning, patching, cloning, and production support.

Key Responsibilities
Administer and support Oracle E-Business Suite (R12.1/R12.2) environments.
Perform installation, configuration, cloning, upgrades, and migration activities.
Manage Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) in production and non-production environments.
Apply Oracle EBS and database patches using ADOP/AutoPatch.
Monitor database performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform performance tuning.
Handle backup and recovery activities using RMAN.
Manage high availability solutions and disaster recovery environments.
Support concurrent managers, workflow mailers,



and application services.
Perform database refreshes, cloning, and environment management.
Work closely with application teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and operational standards.

Required Skills
5 to 9 years of experience as an Oracle Apps DBA.
Strong experience in Oracle EBS R12.1/R12.2 administration.
Hands-on experience with Oracle Database 11g/12c/19c.
Expertise in EBS cloning, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
Good knowledge of RMAN backup and recovery.
Experience in SQL, PL/SQL, and performance tuning.
Knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
Experience working in production support environments.
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, ASM.
Knowledge of OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
Exposure to automation/scripting using Shell Scripts.
ITIL process knowledge.

Notice Period
Immediate to 60 Days Preferred.
