Role & responsibilities
Manage day-to-day QC laboratory activities and allocate work to Chemists/Executives.
Review chemical and microbiological testing results, records, logbooks and documentation.
Ensure compliance with GMP, GLP, GDP, SOPs and quality systems.
Prepare/review SOPs, GTPs, formats, logbooks and QC documents.
Monitor batch release status and coordinate with Production.
Handle Change Controls, training, laboratory inventory and audit readiness.
Supervise Microbiology activities, including media preparation, sterilization, microbial testing and related records.
Coordinate with QC, R&D;, Production and other departments.
Support internal and external audits and ensure the laboratory remains inspection-ready.
Preferred candidate profile
Pharma/API/Excipient/Chemical manufacturing, preferably having exposure to both Chemical QC + Microbiology QC, GMP documentation, audits, batch release and laboratory team handling.
