Role & responsibilities
Operate gas gensets as per SOPs and plant requirements.
Monitor parameters such as load, voltage, frequency, gas pressure, temperature, oil pressure, and engine performance.
Carry out routine inspections, start-up/shutdown, and operational checks.
Monitor and operate associated BoP equipment including pumps, cooling systems, compressors, fuel/gas systems, and auxiliary systems.
Maintain daily operational logs, readings, and equipment checklists.
Identify abnormal conditions, alarms, leakages, vibrations, or unusual sounds and report them promptly.
Coordinate with the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
Preferred candidate profile
Typically 25 years of experience in gas genset/DG operation, power plant, STP/ETP, WTP, or industrial utility operations.
