Job Title: Lead Business System Analyst (P&C; Insurance)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Lead Business System Analyst with robust P&C; Insurance domain expertise and hands-on SQL skills. The ideal candidate should possess a balanced Techno-Functional Business Analyst profile, capable of independently driving requirements gathering, data analysis, stakeholder management, and solution design activities.

The candidate will play a key role in the organization's Enterprise Data Platform and Analytics initiatives, working closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and data engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
Translate business requirements into user stories and functional specifications.
Perform data analysis and develop SQL queries to support business requirements and validation.
Define and document data mappings, data lineage, and business rules.
Conduct workshops, requirement elicitation sessions,



and stakeholder discussions.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, Product Management, and QA teams.
Support UAT, testing activities, and requirements validation.
Work independently and drive BA activities with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Skills
8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
Solid experience in P&C; Insurance (Property & Casualty Insurance).
Experience in: Claims
Policy Administration
New Business
Insurance Products
Intermediate to Advanced SQL skills with hands-on query writing and data analysis experience.
Robust expertise in:
Requirements Gathering
Requirement Documentation
Stakeholder Management
Data Analysis
Agile Methodologies

Preferred Skills
Experience with Snowflake, Data Warehouse, or Enterprise Data Platforms.
Knowledge of Data Lineage and Data Mapping.
Experience with JIRA or similar Agile tools.
London Market Insurance experience (Nice to Have).
