Role & Responsibilities
Ensure the quality, integrity, and completeness of client and related-party data in independence compliance systems.
Support engagement teams in complying with independence policies and global regulatory standards (IESBA, SEC, AICPA, PCAOB).
Evaluate potential conflicts of interest and financial relationships.
Perform secondary research to verify data accuracy.
Run periodic reports and reconcile data across systems to maintain consistency and accuracy.
Update documentation for relevant processes; ensure guidance is up to date.
Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system deployment activities.
Work on projects as required and contribute to best practices and process improvements.
Support knowledge-sharing initiatives and provide training to team members where necessary.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Postgraduate/MBA in Finance, MCom, or related field.
02 years of relevant experience (1–3 years acceptable for entry-level analysts).
Basic knowledge of financial instruments: equities, mutual funds, loans, insurance.
Solid analytical skills with attention to detail and qualified skepticism.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of data/analytics tools is a plus.
Familiarity with research platforms (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) is advantageous.
Ability to handle confidential/sensitive information with discretion.
Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a agile workplace.
Adaptable to process changes and team dynamics; willingness to work extra hours during busy periods.
