We are looking for an experienced Technical Manager / Lead Manager Java to lead Java development initiatives, provide technical guidance to the development team and ensure the successful delivery of scalable and high-quality applications.
The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs and databases, along with experience in team coordination, technical decision-making and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor Java development team members.
Design, develop and maintain scalable Java applications.
Provide technical guidance throughout the SDLC.
Review code and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Develop and manage applications using Java, Spring and Spring Boot.
Design and implement Microservices and RESTful APIs.
Integrate applications with databases, APIs and third-party services.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps and other technical teams.
Monitor application performance, security, scalability and reliability.
Participate in technical planning, estimation and project delivery.
Prepare technical documentation as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
5 - 9 years of experience in Java development with experience in technical leadership or team coordination.
Strong knowledge of Core Java, OOP and Design Patterns.
Hands-on experience with Spring and Spring Boot.
Experience with Microservices Architecture.
Valuable knowledge of REST APIs, JSON and XML.
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or Oracle.
Knowledge of Hibernate/JPA.
Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.
Solid problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to guide developers and coordinate technical activities.
Preferred Skills:
Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
Understanding of system design and distributed applications.
Knowledge of application security and secure coding practices.
Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
