Role & responsibilities
ct as the primary contact for all customer quality-related issues and concerns.
Receive, investigate and manage customer complaints, warranty claims, field failures and returns.
Lead 8D problem-solving and root cause analysis using 5 Why, Fishbone/Ishikawa, Pareto and other RCA tools.
Coordinate immediate containment actions, sorting, rework and corrective actions at customer locations when required.
Prepare and submit customer-facing 8D, RCA, CAPA and corrective action reports within agreed timelines.
Coordinate with Production, Process Engineering, Supplier Quality, R&D; and other cross-functional teams for issue resolution.
Verify the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and ensure prevention of recurrence.
Monitor customer quality metrics such as PPM/DPPM, complaints, rejection, warranty and field-failure trends.
Participate in customer meetings, quality reviews, audits and customer visits.
Support customer-specific requirements and ensure compliance with applicable quality standards.
Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA,



Control Plan, MSA and SPC activities during current product development and production.
Conduct product/process audits and ensure compliance with customer specifications.
Review customer feedback and identify prospects for continuous quality improvement.
Maintain customer quality records, reports, dashboards and action trackers.
Drive corrective actions for recurring quality problems and support defect-prevention initiatives.
Support Current Product Introduction (NPI), engineering changes and process validation activities.
Provide regular quality performance updates to management and customers.
