Job Description R2R (Record to Report)

Job Title: R2R AM(4+ Years) / Lead AM(6+ Years) / Manager(10+ Years)

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced R2R (Record to Report) qualified to manage end-to-end accounting and reporting activities. The role will be responsible for maintaining the General Ledger, performing account reconciliations, processing journal entries, supporting month-end and year-end closing, and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day Record to Report (R2R) activities and General Ledger operations.

Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, reclassifications, and adjustments.

Perform Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations.

Handle Intercompany accounting and reconciliation activities.

Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close processes.

Review and validate accounting entries to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting policies.

Prepare and maintain account reconciliations and supporting schedules.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies in General Ledger accounts.





Support preparation of financial statements and management reports.

Perform fixed asset accounting, depreciation, and related reconciliations, where applicable.

Ensure timely completion of R2R activities within defined SLAs and quality standards.

Coordinate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, FP&A;, Tax, Treasury, and other finance teams.

Assist with internal and external audit requirements.

Identify process gaps and support process improvement and automation initiatives.

Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with internal controls.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of R2R / General Ledger accounting,Lease Accounting.

Positive understanding of journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reconciliations.

Experience in Intercompany accounting and reconciliation.

Knowledge of month-end and year-end closing activities.

Good understanding of Balance Sheet and P&L; accounting.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of MS Excel.

Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.

Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
