Total Experience
Senior Draftsman: 5 - 10 years of relevant experience in piping drafting and 3D modelling.
Domain Experience
Must have worked in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical plants, Power, or similar industries.
Experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) workplace is essential.
Hands-on experience in Piping Layouts, Equipment Layouts, Isometrics, and Support Drawings.
Software Skills
Proficiency in:
AutoCAD (advanced)
Navisworks (model review, clash checks)
Experience in extraction and checking of isometrics, GA drawings, and material take-offs (MTOs).
Technical Experience

Senior Draftsman:
2D drafting of piping layouts, equipment layouts, platform layouts.
Preparation of isometric drawings as guided by engineers.




Preparation of MTOs and bills of materials.
Ability to read and understand P&IDs; and equipment drawings.
Experience in preparing 3D piping models for complete units.
Development of piping GA drawings, isometrics, support drawings.
Preparation of skid layouts, pipe rack layouts, utility station layouts, expansion loops, etc.
Knowledge of pipe supports and spring supports.
Standards & Codes Knowledge
Knowledge of piping design and drafting practices as per:
ASME B31.3, B31.1
API, ASTM standards
Familiarity with company / client drafting standards.
