Role & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Spring Bootbased microservices following best practices.
Build scalable and resilient REST APIs and integrate with downstream/upstream systems.
Implement event-driven architectures using Kafka (producers, consumers, topics, offsets).
Perform API testing and validation using tools like Postman / REST clients; ensure data accuracy and response integrity.
Write unit, integration, and functional test cases for services and APIs.
Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide fixes.
Collaborate with business analysts, QA, DevOps, and architects for end-to-end delivery.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and performance benchmarks.
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews).
Preferred Candidate Profile
5–6+ years of experience in Java with solid hands-on expertise in Spring Boot.
Solid experience in Microservices architecture and RESTful API development.
Hands-on exposure to Kafka for message streaming and asynchronous processing.
Robust experience in API testing, validation, and debugging.
Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, JSON, and API contracts.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (Git).
Experience working in Agile development environments.
Robust problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
