Role & responsibilities
Source and procure polished diamonds and Solitaires.
Compare quotations, evaluate suppliers, and recommend the best purchasing options.
Verify diamond specifications, certifications, quality parameters, and pricing before procurement.
Monitor inventory levels and initiate timely purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
Maintain accurate purchase records, supplier databases, invoices, and documentation.
Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, pricing, or delivery.
Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of polished and rough diamonds, grading standards, and certification processes. Familiarity with diamond pricing, sourcing practices, and market trends.
Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
Solid analytical and commercial decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Purchase Management software.
Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
