Purpose/Objective

To ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials required for cement manufacturing through effective procurement planning, supplier coordination, inventory management, logistics monitoring, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities of Role
Monitor and plan raw material requirements such as Limestone, Gypsum, Fly Ash, Slag, Coal, Pet Coke, Iron Ore, and other additives.
Coordinate with plant operations, mining, logistics, and procurement teams for timely availability of materials.
Track inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid production disruptions.
Manage supplier coordination, delivery schedules, and dispatch follow-ups.
Analyze consumption trends and prepare material requirement forecasts.
Monitor material quality parameters in coordination with Quality and Production teams.
Track procurement costs and identify prospects for cost optimization.
Prepare MIS reports related to inventory, consumption, procurement, and logistics.




Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
Support contract management, vendor evaluation, and supplier performance monitoring.

Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification - B.
E.
/B.
Tech (Mechanical, Mining, Chemical, Industrial Engineering) or - MBA/PGDM in Supply Chain Management/Operations (Preferred) Experience - 5 to 8 years of experience in Raw Material Management, Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Plant Operations.
Preference for candidates from Cement, Mining, Power, Steel, or Process Industries.
