We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager with strong leadership and hands-on experience in planning and project controls for large-scale Data Center projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project planning and develop master, baseline and detailed project schedules.
Manage planning activities across the complete project lifecycle from inception to handover.
Monitor project progress, critical paths, milestones and schedule performance.
Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, MEP, contractors and vendors.
Identify schedule risks, delays and bottlenecks and drive mitigation plans.
Support project budgeting, tendering, procurement planning and change management.
Prepare and present project progress reports to clients and senior stakeholders.
Lead and mentor planning/project controls teams.
Coordinate testing & commissioning and ensure timely project handover.
Required Skills & Experience:
15- 18+ years of total experience in construction/project planning.
6+ years of Planning Manager / senior planning experience.
Hands-on experience in at least 2 complete large-scale Data Center projects.
Solid expertise in Primavera P6 OR MS Project.
Strong knowledge of construction planning, scheduling and project controls.
Experience with EPC/contracting companies is highly preferred.
Valuable understanding of Civil/MEP construction, procurement, installation, testing & commissioning.
Robust client, contractor, vendor and stakeholder management experience.
Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to relocate/travel for project requirements.
Preferred Industry: Data Center / EPC / Construction / MEP / Infrastructure
Education: BE/B.Tech preferred.
