Job Title: 3 Layer IBC Blown Film Technician/ Operator

Reporting To: Plant Manager

Job Summary

Responsible for operating, setting, monitoring, and troubleshooting a 3-layer IBC blown film extrusion line to achieve production targets, consistent film quality, uniform thickness, and minimum material wastage.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor 3-layer IBC blown film extrusion machines.
Set extruder, die, screw speed, pressure, haul-off, winding, and cooling parameters.
Operate and adjust IBC, air ring, bubble cage, and cooling systems.
Maintain bubble stability, film width, lay-flat, frost line, and film thickness.
Monitor film quality and troubleshoot defects such as gels, wrinkles, uneven thickness, haze, blocking, and fisheyes.
Handle LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, recycled materials, masterbatches, and additives.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and process-related issues.
Perform die cleaning, screen/filter changes, routine cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance.
Maintain production, material consumption, waste, machine setting, and quality records.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.




Train junior operators/helpers and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Optimize machine performance and minimize scrap and downtime.

Required Skills Experience
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in high-output blown film extrusion.
Experience with 3-layer IBC blown film machines is mandatory.
Robust knowledge of IBC bubble cooling and blown film extrusion technology.
Experience with automatic thickness control.
Knowledge of LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, and recycled materials.
Valuable understanding of film thickness, width, lay-flat, winding tension, and production calculations.
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Technical/Vocational qualification in Plastics Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.
Experience with DIING KUEN/Taiwanese or European machines will be an added advantage.
Willingness to work in shifts and under production targets.
