We are hiring for our client, a plantation and agribusiness organization with a legacy spanning several decades, based in Calicut!

Experience - 7 - 12 Years

Role Description
The role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts.
Prepare invoices, handle accounts payable and receivable
Monitor cash flow, and assist in budgeting and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
Coordinating with internal teams and external auditors, and supporting the preparation of periodic management reports.
Maintaining accurate financial records, identifying discrepancies, and contributing to process improvements in the finance function.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including ledger management, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation.
Statutory Compliance: Handle GST, TDS, PF, ESI,



and coordinate with Statutory Auditors & Company Secretary.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, financial models, and reporting tools.
Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and robust analytical skills to identify, investigate, and resolve financial discrepancies.
Valuable organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain up-to-date financial records.
Effective written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with internal stakeholders, vendors, and auditors.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; qualified certifications (such as CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience as an Accounts Officer or in a similar accounting role, preferably within manufacturing unit
