Job Description Location: Remote (Chennai)

n Role & Key Responsibilities:

- n
- Generate new logistics business across FTL/PTL segments in Chennai and nearby markets.n
- Identify, prospect, acquire and onboard new clients within the 3PL, manufacturing, retail and FMCG sectors .n
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation, cold calling, networking and RFP participation to client onboarding and first-load execution.n
- Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline and secure regular/daily load volumes from customers.n
- Develop and maintain a strong transporter/broker network for sourcing market vehicles and ensuring capacity availability.n
- Arrange trucks from the open market and manage vehicle hiring, placement, dispatch and shipment execution .n
- Coordinate with customers, transporters, drivers and internal teams to ensure timely vehicle placement and delivery .n
- Analyze lane-wise demand, spot vs. contract freight rates, market trends and seasonal capacity fluctuations to develop competitive pricing.n




- Negotiate freight rates with customers and transporters while maintaining healthy margins .n
- Manage transporter/vendor relationships and ensure service quality, vehicle availability and operational reliability.n
- Resolve operational issues such as vehicle breakdowns, no-shows, delays and delivery exceptions .n
- Drive customer retention, repeat business and revenue growth through strong relationship management and service delivery.n

n Mandatory Requirements:

- n
- 6+ years of relevant experience in 3PL, FTL and Business Development/Sales .n
- Proven track record in new client acquisition, revenue generation and achieving sales targets .n
- Strong understanding of the FTL/3PL market , freight pricing, lane analysis and market dynamics.n
- Strong transporter/broker network in Chennai and nearby regions .n
- Hands-on experience in market vehicle hiring, truck placement and carrier/vendor management .n
- Experience handling
