Dee Pet Services is a growing pet-care company providing qualified veterinary and pet-care services for dogs and cats. We are looking for a responsible and compassionate Paravet / Veterinary Assistant to support our veterinary team in providing quality care to pets.
Job Responsibilities
Assist veterinarians during consultations, treatments and procedures.
Handle and restrain dogs and cats safely during examinations and treatments.
Assist with vaccination, deworming, medication administration and basic veterinary procedures under veterinary supervision.
Collect and handle blood, urine and other clinical samples as required.
Assist with basic diagnostic procedures and sample preparation.
Monitor patients before, during and after treatments or procedures.
Assist veterinarians during minor procedures and surgeries when required.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of veterinary equipment,



treatment areas and workspaces.
Properly clean, disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment.
Maintain accurate records of treatments, medications, vaccinations and patient information.
Assist with preparation and maintenance of veterinary medicines and supplies.
Coordinate with pet parents regarding basic instructions provided by the veterinarian.
Assist the veterinary team during home/doorstep visits.
Ensure all required equipment, medicines and consumables are available before visits.
Follow proper animal-handling, infection-control and safety protocols.
Assist with patient care at the clinic/boarding facility when required.
Report any changes in a patient's condition promptly to the veterinarian.
Perform other veterinary support duties as assigned by the veterinarian or management.
Requirements
Diploma/Certificate in Veterinary Pharmacy, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Paraveterinar
