Role Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and strategic leader to take on the role of Head of Credit for our Unsecured Assets Business. This pivotal position is responsible for managing the entire credit lifecycle for our unsecured products, including Personal Loans, Credit Cards, and Consumer Durable Loans. You will be responsible for developing and implementing robust credit underwriting policies, managing portfolio quality, and ensuring a healthy balance between business growth and risk control. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in unsecured lending, a strong command of credit risk principles, and the ability to lead a large team of credit professionals in a fast-paced workplace.

Key Responsibilities

Credit Policy & Underwriting: Formulate, review, and continuously refine the credit underwriting policies and procedures for all unsecured loan products to align with the bank's risk appetite.
Risk Management: Own the credit quality of the unsecured portfolio. Proactively identify, measure,



and mitigate credit risks through effective policy changes, portfolio monitoring, and early warning systems.
Portfolio Oversight: Continuously monitor portfolio performance, analyzing key risk indicators (KRIs) such as delinquency rates, loss rates, and portfolio yield. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Process Excellence: Drive efficiency and effectiveness in the credit underwriting process by leveraging technology, automation, and data analytics. Ensure adherence to defined Turnaround Times (TAT) without compromising on credit quality.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all internal credit policies and external regulatory guidelines set forth by the RBI and other relevant bodies.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the Business, Sales, Operations, and Analytics teams to achieve business targets while maintaining a prudent risk framework.
