Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Surface Treatment expert role based in Bengaluru. The role involves planning, implementing and monitoring surface treatment processes for machinery components, including cleaning, coating, corrosion protection, and finishing to meet engineering and quality specifications. The expert will evaluate water and wastewater treatment requirements within the surface treatment area, select appropriate chemicals and process parameters, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating with design and production teams, troubleshooting process issues, maintaining documentation and records of treatment parameters, and optimizing resource usage.
The role also includes training operators and technicians on standard operating procedures, quality checks, and safe handling of treatment chemicals and equipment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess robust expertise in Water Treatment, Wastewater Treatment, and Water Quality management as applied to industrial surface treatment processes.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Chemistry relevant to coatings, corrosion prevention, and chemical treatment of surfaces and process water.
