Perform buffing, polishing, and finishing of stainless steel (SS) sheet metal components used in commercial kitchen equipment.
- Operate buffing machines, polishing wheels, grinders, and related finishing tools safely and efficiently.
- Achieve required surface finish such as mirror finish, matte finish, or satin finish as per drawing/specifications.
- Remove scratches, welding marks, burrs, and surface defects from fabricated parts.
- Select appropriate polishing compounds, wheels, and abrasives based on material and finish requirement.
- Ensure uniform finish and smooth edges on products like tables, sinks, cabinets, trolleys, and kitchen units.
- Inspect finished components for quality, shine, and surface defects before forwarding to next process.




- Maintain proper handling of SS materials to avoid dents, stains, or contamination.
- Follow production targets and complete work within given timelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure proper disposal of waste materials (dust, scrap, etc.).
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of buffing and polishing machines.
- Follow safety guidelines and use PPE such as gloves, goggles, masks, and aprons.
- Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and quality teams for smooth workflow.
