Hiring: SAP Historical Data Archiving & Retrieval Consultant

Relevant Experience: 6–10 Years

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant with strong hands-on exposure to SAP Historical Data Archiving, Retrieval, Data Retention and legacy SAP system decommissioning.

This is NOT a pure SAP Basis, ABAP or technical archive execution role.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

SAP Historical Data Archiving & Retrieval

SAP ILM / Information Lifecycle Management / Data Retention

SAP system or application decommissioning projects

Strong SAP functional understanding across FI/CO, MM and/or SD

Identifying complete logical business records across SAP transactions

Understanding relationships between SAP tables, documents and business objects

Source-to-Archive / Source-to-Target data mapping

Historical data search and retrieval requirements

Data reconciliation and completeness validation

UAT, business validation and sign-off





Working with Business, Audit, Compliance and Technical/Data teams

Positive exposure to SAP tables and business document relationships such as FI accounting documents, invoices, vendors, customers, purchase orders, sales orders, payments and related transactions will be highly preferred.

Experience with SAP ILM, SARA, OpenText, PBS, Doxis or similar archiving solutions would be an added advantage.

Profiles with only SAP Basis administration, ABAP development, S/4 migration or generic FI/MM/SD implementation experience without archiving/retrieval exposure may not be suitable.
