Role Description This full-time Offshore Fabrication Welder role is a hybrid position based in Mumbai, with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, documentation, and coordination tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing GTAW (TIG), GMAW (MIG/MAG), SMAW (stick), FCAW, and carbon arc gouging on a variety of materials and structures used in offshore drilling and support equipment.



The welder will interpret fabrication drawings and welding procedures, fit and align components, carry out all types of fabrication welding, and ensure weld quality through visual checks and compliance with specified standards. The role involves collaborating with engineers and supervisors, following safety protocols in offshore and yard environments, maintaining welding equipment, and completing job reports or documentation as required. Occasional offshore deployment, shift work, and work in confined or elevated spaces may be required, following company safety and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong core welding skills, including Welding, Arc Welding, TIG Welding (GTAW), and MIG Welding (GMAW).
Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Materials relevant to offshore fabrication, such as carbon steel, alloy steel, and stainless steel, including material properties and weldability.
