The SAP BTP Platform Administrator is responsible for the design, setup, configuration, and ongoing administration of the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This role ensures a secure, scalable, and high-performing platform that supports SAP and non-SAP application development, integration, and extension strategies.
The position plays a critical role in enabling innovation and modernization through the SAP BTP ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Setup & Provisioning
Lead initial setup and configuration of SAP BTP global accounts, subaccounts, directories, and environments (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP Environment).
Define and implement account models aligned with organizational structure and governance policies.
Configure entitlements, quotas, and service plans across subaccounts.
Establish naming conventions, tagging strategies, and resource hierarchy standards.
Administration & Operations
Manage lifecycle of BTP subaccounts, services, and environments.
Monitor platform health, performance, and usage using SAP BTP cockpit and monitoring tools (e.g., SAP Cloud ALM).
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for platform-related issues.
Manage transport routes and deployment pipelines where applicable.
