We’re Hiring: UK Accounts Executive

nAt Accountables, we work with founders, CFOs, and growing businesses across the UK and US, helping them build stronger finance functions through accurate accounting, reliable reporting, and better financial processes.
nWe’re looking for a UK Accounting Associate with 2–3 years of UK accounting experience who understands UK accounting practices and has hands-on experience with Xero and other cloud accounting tools.

nWhat you’ll be doing:

- n
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping for UK clientsn
- Handle bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliationsn
- Support month-end close, journals, accruals, and prepaymentsn
- Prepare financial statements and management reportsn
- Work with Xero and other accounting platformsn
- Support AP, AR, and UK VAT-related activitiesn
- Review financial data and resolve discrepanciesn
- Communicate with UK clients and manage accounting queriesn
- Maintain accurate workpapers and accounting recordsn
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and efficiency

nWhat we are looking for:

- n
- 2–3 years of UK accounting experiencen
- Good understanding of UK accounting practicesn
- Hands-on experience with Xeron
- Familiarity with tools such as QuickBooks Online, Dext, Hubdoc, Sage, FreeAgent, or similar platformsn
- Good knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end accountingn
- Strong Excel and analytical skillsn
- Good communication and attention to detailn
- A proactive and ownership-driven mindsetn
