Job Title: Senior VB.NET Developer (Individual Contributor)

Role Summary

We are looking for a strong VB.NET Individual Contributor who can independently design, build, and deliver endtoend features. The ideal candidate is handson, technically solid, and comfortable working directly with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, highquality solutions. This role requires ownership mindset, minimal supervision, and the ability to drive features from requirement understanding design development testing deployment support.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and deliver endtoend application features using VB.NET and .NET Framework/.NET
- Work directly with business users and product stakeholders to understand requirements and propose technical solutions
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, estimates, and implementation plans
- Design, develop, test, and maintain VB.NET applications (desktop/web/services as applicable)
- Perform code reviews, refactoring, and performance tuning to ensure quality and maintainability
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams (QA, Support, Infra, DB) to ensure smooth releases
- Debug production issues and provide rootcause analysis and permanent fixes
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure adherence to coding and security standards
- Act as a goto individual contributor for complex problem solving and feature ownership

Required Skills & Experience





- Solid handson experience with VB.NET and .NET Framework / .NET
- Solid experience with SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Experience with ASP.NET / Windows Services / Desktop applications (based on project needs)
- Strong understanding of ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) and design principles
- Experience working in enterprise applications with production support exposure
- Ability to independently drive work with minimal guidance

- Proven ability to interact directly with business stakeholders
- Strong requirementgathering, analysis, and clarification skills
- Ability to explain technical concepts in simple businessfriendly language
- Comfortable challenging requirements and suggesting better technical approaches

Nice to Have

- Experience with modernization or legacy system enhancement
- Exposure to C#, Web APIs, REST services, or system integrations
- Familiarity with Agile / DevOps ways of working
- Experience working in manufacturing / enterprise IT environments
