Job Description Role: IT and Security Executive N Location: Pune - Chakan N Experience: 3+ years N Salary: Up to 6 LPA N Industry: Chemical Manufacturing N Reports to: Management / Director N Type: Full time, on site N n About the role NWe are looking for a fulltime IT person for our Manufacturing plant in Chakan. This person will be the single point of contact for all IT and cyber security matters across our plants and offices. NThe person will also workalong with our external cyber security consultant, who will guide on what security systems to put in place. This role is to run and maintain those systems every day . N n Daily duties N Computers and servers Nn Keep all computers and servers running properly N Install Windows updatesand software updates on time. N Keep a list of all computers, laptops, servers and who is using them. Keep this list updated. N Set up new computers for new staff and take back computers from staffs that leave. N Solve day to day problems faced by staff, such as printer issues, email issues and software issues. Nn n Network: N nn Look after thefirewall, Wi-Fi and internet connections at both plants. N Make sure the office network and the plant automation network stay separate, as advised by our security consultant. N Keep a record of any change made in the network. Nn n Security: N nn Install and monitor the antivirus and security software on all computers. N Check security alerts every day and report anythingunusual to management Immediately N Take regular backups ofimportant data, including SCADA project files and test every month that the backup can actually be restored. N Create user accounts with correct rights. Make sure staffs do not share passwords. N Remove accounts of staff that have left the company, on the same day they leave. Vendor control (very key)



N Keep a list of all external vendors who need access to our computers or servers. N No vendor should connect to our systems without written approval and without your knowledge. N Be present, in person or on screen, whenever a vendor is working on our servers. Note down what they did, when they started and when they finished. N Give vendors access only for the time they need it. Remove the access once the work is finished. Nn n Reporting: N nn Send a short monthly report to management covering system health, backups taken, Security alerts and vendor visits. Nn nn Work with our cybersecurity consultant and complete the tasks given in the security plan. Nn n Education Qualifications: Nn Diploma or degreein Computer Science, IT or Electronics N BCA, BSc IT, BE, BTech or equivalent Nn n Experience: N nn 3 to 6 years of experience as a System Administrator, IT Executive or Network Administrator N Experience in a manufacturing plant will be an added advantage N Experience of working with SCADA or plant automation systems is preferred but not Compulsory Nn n Technical knowledge required N nn Windows Serverand Windows desktop N Basic knowledge of Linux N Networking basics: IP addressing, switches, routers, VLAN, VPN N Firewall handlingn Antivirus and endpoint security software N Backup and restoren Basic understanding of cyber security Nn n Personal qualities we value N nn Honest and trustworthy. This person will hold the keys to all our systems. N Willing to say no to vendors and to senior staff when a request is not safe N Keeps proper records and writes things down.
