Role Description

The Video Content Creator Trainee is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the end-to-end production of digital video content. Day-to-day tasks include assisting in planning and scripting educational and promotional videos, preparing basic storyboards, and coordinating with trainers and subject matter experts to capture accurate information. The trainee will help with filming or screen recording, organizing footage, and performing basic editing and post-production tasks under guidance. The role also involves adapting content for multiple platforms, optimizing videos for social media and learning portals, and maintaining a consistent visual and brand style. As a trainee,



the individual will receive mentoring, participate in feedback sessions, and gradually take ownership of video projects as skills develop.

Qualifications

- Foundational skills in video production and editing, including familiarity with common video editing tools and basic understanding of filming or screen recording workflows.
- Creative and visual storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical or educational concepts into engaging video formats and clear scripts.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow brand, style, and quality guidelines.
- Comfort with digital platforms and social media, including an interest in optimizing content for online learning environments and promotional channels.
- Ability to work remotely in a full time capacity, manage tasks in a structured manner, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Interest in technology, professional training, or certifications; prior exposure to IT, multimedia, or related fields is an advantage.
- Relevant academic background in media, communication, design, IT, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience through projects or a portfolio.
- Willingness to learn, accept feedback, and develop skills in video creation, instructional design, and digital content production.
