About The Role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our team in a full-time remote capacity.
In this role, you will work with structured and unstructured data to generate meaningful insights that support business, product, engineering, and client-facing teams .
You will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analyzing, and visualizing data, building dashboards and reports, developing data models, and identifying trends and performance drivers.
You will also collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into analytical solutions and communicate insights in a clear and actionable manner.
This role provides an opportunity to work with SQL, Python, Power BI, statistics, data modeling, and up-to-date analytics platforms while contributing to data-driven and AI-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, clean, analyze, and interpret datasets to support business decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, opportunities, and performance drivers .
• Write, optimize, and validate SQL queries across multiple data sources.
• Use Python for data cleaning, transformation, automation, and analysis.
• Perform Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
and generate meaningful summary statistics.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to track KPIs and business metrics.
• Develop and maintain data models to support analytics and reporting requirements.
• Apply statistical techniques to identify patterns and generate actionable insights.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity through appropriate validation and quality checks.
• Automate repetitive data-related processes using Python scripts and scheduling tools .
• Create clear reports and visualizations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, business, and other cross-functional teams to understand requirements.
• Translate business questions into appropriate analytical frameworks and solutions .
• Document analytical workflows and methodologies using Jupyter Notebooks or similar environments.
• Contribute to improving data foundations and supporting AI-ready data initiatives .
• Present analytical findings and recommendations in a clear, concise, and actionable manner.
️ Nice to Have Skills/Knowledge
Technical Skills
• Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, aggregation, and optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Python for data analysis.
• Knowledge of Python libraries such as Pandas, Num Py, and Matplotlib .
• Strong knowledge of Power BI and dashboard development.
• Understanding of DAX calculations and Power BI data modeling.
• Knowledge of data cleaning, transformation, and preparation techniques.
• Understanding of statistics , including descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, and regression.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases .
• Familiarity with Jupyter Notebook or similar notebook environments.
• Understanding of data visualization and data storytelling best practices.
Professional Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Ability to translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex data insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working in the 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST shift.
⭐ Good to Have
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or other cloud-based analytics platforms.
• Exposure to AI, data engineering, or real-time data ecosystems.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Engineering , or a related field is preferred.
• 0–3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Data Operations, Implementation, Onboarding, or related roles.
• Freshers with strong fundamentals, relevant projects, internships, or certifications are encouraged to apply.
