JAMF Administrator – Mac Endpoint Management

/n

Key roles/Responsibilities

/n

1. JAMF Pro Administration

/n

- Administer and maintain the JAMF Pro environment.

/n

- Configure JAMF policies, configuration profiles, restrictions, Smart Groups, scripts, and packages.

/n

- Manage JAMF user roles, permissions, and administrative access.

/n

- Monitor JAMF health, device check-ins, policy execution, and enrollment status.

/n

- Maintain JAMF configuration standards and operational documentation.

/n

1. Mac Book Enrollment & Provisioning

/n

- Manage corporate Mac Book enrollment using Apple Business Manager (ABM) and Automated Device Enrollment (ADE).

/n

- Configure and maintain Pre Stage Enrollment workflows.

/n

- Implement zero-touch deployment for new Mac Books.

/n

- Configure device naming, user assignment, local accounts, security settings, and baseline configurations.

/n

- Support Mac Book refresh, replacement, re-enrollment, and redeployment processes.

/n

1. Configuration & Policy Management

/n

- Create and maintain macOS Configuration Profiles (Hireright internal)

/n

Application Management

/n

- Package and deploy macOS applications through JAMF Pro.

/n

- Manage application installation, upgrades, patching, and removal.

/n

- Maintain application versions and deployment policies.

/n

- Configure Self Service for approved applications.

/n

- Troubleshoot application deployment failures.

/n

- Work with application owners to onboard new Mac applications.

/n

1. macOS Patching & OS Lifecycle

/n

- Manage macOS upgrades and security updates.

/n

- Test current macOS releases before enterprise deployment.

/n

- Create phased deployment rings for OS updates.

/n

- Monitor patch compliance and remediate devices that fall behind.

/n

1. Endpoint Security & Compliance

/n

- Support endpoint security tools such as:

/n

o Crowd Strike

/n

o Zscaler

/n

- Identify non-compliant Mac Books and implement automated remediation.

/n

- Support vulnerability remediation and security audit requirements.

/n

JAMF Pro provides inventory, application lifecycle management, compliance configurations, remote security commands, and automated endpoint management capabilities.
