Role Summary

/n

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager to drive our oncogenomics business across the Tamilnadu market. This is an individual contributor role focused on direct engagement with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, and pathologists — driving adoption of genomic/molecular oncology tests (e.g., companion diagnostics, biomarker testing, liquid biopsy, tumor profiling) and growing territory revenue.

Key Responsibilities

/n

- Drive sales of oncogenomics/molecular oncology tests within the assigned territory

/n

- Build and maintain relationships with oncologists, hemato-oncologists, pathologists, and cancer centers

/n

- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets and territory growth objectives

/n

- Conduct scientific detailing on genomic testing (biomarkers, mutation panels, liquid biopsy) with treating physicians

/n

- Coordinate with sample logistics, CX, and lab operations teams for smooth order-to-report turnaround

/n





- Track competitor activity, emerging biomarker trends, and physician feedback; report regularly to management

/n

- Represent the company at oncology conferences, tumor boards, and CME events

/n

Requirements

/n

/n

- [3–6]+ years of specialty sales experience in oncology, oncogenomics, molecular diagnostics, or precision oncology testing

/n

- Existing relationships with oncologists/onco-physicians / onco surgeons / hemato-oncologists in Tamilnadu area strongly preferred

/n

- Working knowledge of genomic/biomarker testing concepts (NGS, PCR-based panels, liquid biopsy) — ability to hold scientific conversations with clinicians - Not Mandatory

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a specialty/clinical selling workplace

/n

- Willingness to travel within the territory for clinicans visits

/n

- Bachelor's degree required; science/pharmacy/life sciences background preferred (biotechnology/genetics background a plus)
