About the Role

/n

We are looking for a dynamic and visionary Creative Director to lead the content strategy and execution for an upcoming You Tube channel. The ideal candidate will have a strong storytelling mindset and hands-on experience in long-form video content, documentaries, and You Tube Shorts , with a deep understanding of audience engagement and platform trends.

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Develop and execute the creative vision and content strategy for the You Tube channel

/n

- Conceptualise, script, and oversee production of:

/n

- Long-form videos

/n

- Documentary-style content

/n

- You Tube Shorts & short-form videos

/n

- Lead end-to-end content creation: ideation → scripting → shooting → editing → publishing

/n

- Ensure consistency in brand voice, storytelling style, and visual identity

/n

- Collaborate with videographers, editors, writers, and social media teams

/n

- Analyze performance metrics (views, watch time, retention) and optimize content strategy

/n

- Stay updated with You Tube trends, algorithms, and audience behavior

/n





- Drive innovation in storytelling formats and creative execution

/n

Required Skills & Qualifications

/n

/n

- 4+ years of experience in content creation, filmmaking, or digital media

/n

- Proven experience in:

/n

- You Tube content strategy

/n

- Documentary or narrative storytelling

/n

- Short-form content (Reels/Shorts)

/n

- Strong understanding of You Tube algorithms, SEO, and audience retention techniques

/n

- Excellent storytelling, scripting, and visual direction skills

/n

- Hands-on experience with video production and editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

/n

- Ability to lead creative teams and manage multiple projects

/n

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with You Tube channels or digital media startups

- Background in journalism, filmmaking, or mass communication

- Strong portfolio showcasing diverse video formats
