About the Role

/n

We are looking for an experienced Domain Architect – Service Now to lead the architecture, design, governance, and technical assurance of enterprise Service Now platforms.

/n

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on architecture experience across Service Now, CMDB, CSDM, integrations, workflows, security, automation, and enterprise governance . You will be responsible for defining scalable architecture patterns, reviewing HLD/LLD designs, ensuring platform standards, and guiding implementation teams and vendors.

/n

This role is suited for a senior Service Now professional who has progressed beyond platform development into enterprise architecture, governance, design assurance, and strategic technical leadership .

Key Responsibilities

/n

/n

- Define and own the Service Now domain architecture aligned with enterprise architecture principles and business objectives.

/n

- Design and govern scalable Service Now solutions across enterprise workflows and platform capabilities.

/n

- Establish and maintain CMDB and CSDM architecture , data models, relationships, and governance standards.

/n

- Define architecture patterns and standards for Service Now integrations with enterprise applications and external platforms.

/n

- Design and review workflows, automation, orchestration, and platform capabilities.

/n

- Establish and enforce security architecture, roles, access controls, and platform security standards .

/n

- Review and provide technical assurance for HLDs, LLDs, solution designs, and implementation approaches .

/n

- Define reusable architecture standards, design patterns, reference architectures, and best practices.

/n

- Identify architectural risks,



technical dependencies, scalability concerns, and opportunities for platform optimization.

/n

- Provide technical guidance to engineering teams, implementation partners, and vendors.

/n

- Ensure Service Now solutions comply with enterprise architecture, security, governance, and regulatory standards .

/n

- Support platform modernization, integration strategy, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

/n

- Act as the senior technical authority for Service Now architecture decisions.

/n

/n

Required Skills & Experience

/n

/n

- 8+ years of professional experience with significant experience in Service Now.

/n

- Proven experience as a Service Now Architect, Domain Architect, Technical Architect, or equivalent senior architecture role .

/n

- Strong expertise in Service Now platform architecture and enterprise implementations .

/n

- Deep understanding of CMDB and CSDM and their application within enterprise environments.

/n

- Solid experience designing and governing Service Now integrations with enterprise systems.

/n

- Hands-on understanding of workflow design, automation, orchestration, and platform capabilities .

/n

- Strong knowledge of Service Now security, roles, ACLs, access controls, and governance .

/n

- Experience creating and reviewing HLD and LLD documentation .

/n

- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, standards, design patterns, and governance.

/n

- Experience working with large-scale, complex, or multi-system enterprise environments.





/n

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

/n

- Experience providing architectural direction to development and implementation teams.

/n

/n

/n

Preferred / Good to Have

/n

/n

- Service Now Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred.

/n

- Service Now Certified Master Architect or equivalent advanced Service Now certification.

/n

- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CSM, HRSD, Sec Ops , or other major Service Now modules.

/n

- Experience with enterprise integration technologies and API-led architectures.

/n

- Experience working with global consulting firms, large enterprises, or complex transformation programs.

/n

- Exposure to cloud, Dev Ops, enterprise security, and modern integration architectures.

/n
