Next Step HR is hiring a Factory Supervisor for a manufacturing setup. The role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day factory operations, managing production activities and maintaining quality standards.

Location: Ahmedabad India (On-site, Full-time)

/n

Experience: 2–5 years in factory/production supervision

/n

/n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

/n

/n

/n

- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities

/n

- Allocate work to operators and production staff according to priorities

/n

- Monitor production targets, work progress and deadlines

/n

- Ensure proper utilisation of manpower, machines and materials

/n

- Check the quality of finished and semi-finished products

/n

- Identify production issues and take corrective action

/n

- Coordinate with Design, Production, Purchase and Dispatch teams

/n

- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or maintenance requirements

/n

- Ensure minimum material wastage and control rework

/n

- Maintain daily production reports and attendance records

/n

- Ensure workers follow company rules, safety procedures and PPE requirements

/n

- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping across the factory

/n

- Train and guide operators and new production employees

/n

- Handle production-related problems and escalate major issues to management

/n

- Ensure materials are available as per production requirements





/n

- Monitor work quality and productivity of team members

/n

- Ensure urgent and priority jobs are completed on time

/n

- Support management in improving production efficiency and reducing costs

/n

/n

REQUIREMENTS:

/n

/n

/n

- ITI / Diploma / Graduate in Mechanical, Production or a related field preferred

/n

- 3–5 years of experience in factory or production supervision

/n

- Good knowledge of manufacturing and production processes

/n

- Strong manpower handling and team management skills

/n

- Ability to understand production drawings and measurements

/n

- Good problem-solving and decision-making skills

/n

- Basic computer knowledge, especially MS Excel and production reporting

/n

- Good communication and coordination skills

/n

- Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines

/n

- Robust focus on quality, productivity and operational efficiency

/n
