We are looking for a Marketing Manager (Chennai) for a German based Pumps company

The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to strengthen the brand, generate qualified business opportunities, and support revenue growth across target industries. The role requires a strong understanding of industrial products and applications, digital marketing, event management, market research, and lead generation. The Marketing Manager will work closely with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, and Global Marketing teams to enhance market presence and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

- Marketing Strategy & Planning Develop and implement annual marketing plans aligned with business objectives and growth targets. Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and customer needs to drive business expansion.
- Lead Generation & Demand Creation Design and execute lead generation campaigns through digital platforms, industry portals, exhibitions, webinars, email marketing, and networking events. Ensure a continuous flow of qualified leads to the sales team.
- Brand Management & Communication Maintain and strengthen brand image across all customer touchpoints. Develop marketing materials, brochures, case studies, newsletters, presentations, and technical content.
- Digital Marketing Manage company website content, SEO initiatives, social media channels, email marketing campaigns, and online advertising. Monitor digital performance metrics and optimize campaigns for better engagement and conversions.
- Event & Exhibition Management Plan and coordinate participation in trade fairs, exhibitions, technical seminars, customer events, and webinars. Ensure effective pre-event promotion and post-event lead follow-up.
- Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Conduct market analysis, competitor benchmarking,



customer surveys, and industry research. Provide actionable insights to support strategic business decisions and product positioning.
- CRM & Marketing Analytics Track campaign performance, lead conversion metrics, website analytics, and marketing ROI. Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and generate periodic management reports.
- Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Application Engineering, Product Management, HR, and Global Marketing teams to align marketing activities with business priorities. Support product launches and strategic growth initiatives.

Education Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline. MBA in Marketing is preferred.

Experience 58 years of experience in B2B industrial marketing, manufacturing, engineering products, process equipment, pumps, machinery, or related sectors. Experience in digital marketing, exhibitions, lead generation, and brand management is essential.

Technical Competencies

- Strong understanding of industrial products, manufacturing processes, and customer applications.
- Knowledge of digital marketing tools, SEO, Google Analytics, and social media platforms.
- Experience with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.
