Role & responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across the region, including manpower planning, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Coordinate with business heads, store managers, and reporting managers to understand manpower requirements and ensure timely closure of vacancies.
- Develop and maintain a strong talent pipeline for critical and high-volume positions.
- Monitor employee attendance, leave, shift schedules, absenteeism, and manpower deployment across locations.
- Review and validate monthly payroll inputs, including attendance, leave, incentives, overtime, new joiners, exits, and other salary-related inputs.
- Coordinate with the Head Office payroll team to ensure accurate and timely salary processing.
- Handle employee queries related to salary, attendance, leave, policies, and HR processes.
- Manage employee documentation, joining formalities, induction, transfers, confirmations, promotions, and separation processes.
- Handle employee grievances and disciplinary matters in coordination with business teams and Head Office HR.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives and maintain positive employee relations across the region.
- Ensure implementation of company HR policies, processes, and statutory requirements across all locations.
- Conduct regular HR visits/audits to regional offices, stores, and other business locations.
- Monitor manpower strength, attrition, absenteeism, recruitment TAT, and other key HR metrics.
- Prepare and share regional HR MIS, recruitment reports, manpower reports, attendance reports, and attrition dashboards with the Head Office.
- Identify HR issues at the regional level and provide timely solutions in coordination with senior management.
- Act as the key HR point of contact between regional business teams, employees, and Head Office HR.
- Support management in implementing HR initiatives, organizational changes, and business requirements across the region.
Preferred candidate profile
- Strong HR Generalist and HR Operations knowledge.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong experience in recruitment and manpower planning.
- Good knowledge of attendance, leave management, payroll coordination, and employee relations.
- Strong understanding of HR policies and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, HRMS, recruitment portals, and HR reporting tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities independently.
- Strong leadership, team-handling, and decision-making skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-paced, multi-location business environment.
