Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – HR Business Partner (HRBP) to drive HR strategy and people initiatives for the JSW Defence UAV business in Hyderabad. The role will partner closely with business leaders and plant leadership to build a high-performance culture, strengthen talent capabilities and ensure effective execution of HR processes in a quick-growing defence manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the strategic HR Business Partner to business and functional leadership, aligning people strategy with business objectives.
- Drive workforce planning, manpower budgeting, organisation structure and talent strategy for the business.
- Lead end-to-end employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, engagement, retention and employee relations.
- Drive Performance Management, Goal Setting, PMS and Talent Reviews in partnership with business leaders.
- Identify critical talent, develop succession plans and career development initiatives.
- Partner with leadership on employee engagement, culture building and change management initiatives.
- Handle employee relations and ensure effective implementation of HR policies, processes and statutory requirements.
- Support learning & development, capability building and leadership development initiatives.
- Drive HR analytics and provide data-driven insights on manpower, attrition,



performance and employee engagement.
- Work closely with Talent Acquisition on critical and leadership hiring requirements.
- Ensure effective HR support for a rapidly scaling greenfield manufacturing/project environment.
- Collaborate with COEs and HR leadership to implement organisation-wide HR initiatives.

Candidate Profile

- 13–15 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, defence, aerospace, automotive or other industrial sectors.
- Strong experience as an HR Business Partner supporting business/plant/operations teams.
- Experience in plant HR / manufacturing HR and employee relations will be an advantage.
- Strong understanding of PMS, talent management, workforce planning, employee engagement and HR analytics.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and people management capabilities.
- Experience working in a high-growth, transformation or greenfield setup will be preferred.
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed institution preferred.
